Alexis Somers is a board eligible family medicine physician who received her medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Nevada. She completed her residency at Utah Valley Family Medicine in Provo, Utah. She received her undergraduate degree in History at Brigham Young University and received her master"s degree in the History of Medicine from Imperial College in London, United Kingdom. She has a special interest in preventative medicine, women"s health, depression, anxiety and attention deficits disorder. Dr. Somers enjoys family medicine as it allows her to build lasting relationships with her patients. She provides care for all ages from newborns to geriatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Utah Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association.Her personal interests include reading, traveling, cooking, sleeping and most of all spending time with her husband and children, including toddler twins.Very limited availability for new patients
