Sarah Petersen

Sarah Petersen, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric physician. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed a general pediatrics residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri (University of Missouri-Kansas City). Dr. Petersen provides comprehensive pediatric primary care for youth, ages 0-21 years. Her interests include well-child care, parent-child relationships, childhood behavior and development, children with chronic disease, growth concerns, failure to thrive, and mental health disorders in primary care. As a mother and a physician, she loves caring for children with her whole heart. She strives to listen, provide compassionate care, and share knowledge and decision-making with families. Her personal interests include singing, running, skiing, playing, and creating art with her children. Limited availability for new patients.
